Best Motherboard Manufacturer Brands 2021

There are many Motherboards Manufacturers But Best Motherboards Manufacturers are followings.

  • ASRock
  • Asus
  • Gigabyte (including Aorus)
  • MSI (Micro-Star International)
  • Biostar
  • Intel
  • IBM
  • EVGA

I was trying to decide between Asus, Gigabyte, Asrock, and MSI. I’ve narrowed it down to those brands because they have good reputations for their quality products. I also like that their motherboards seem easy to build with most has all the required headers onboard.

List of Best Motherboard Brands in 2021

ASRock was originally based in Taipei Taiwan but has since moved to California USA in order to share the latest technology with American users. ASRock motherboards are sold in over 100 countries around the world which makes them a truly international brand. In fact, they were recently ranked #16 on Forbes China’s Top 40 most admired IT companies.

ASRock has also been awarded for many achievements over the years.

Asus Motherboards:

Asus is one of the best motherboard manufacturers that anyone could ever come across. They are known for coming up with different forms and in various sizes to meet the needs of everyone. The Asus motherboards might not be as efficient or outstanding when compared to other brands but they come at a fair price which makes them accessible to almost everyone no matter how low your budget is.Best Asus motherboards

We are going to look at two of the best boards that Asus has on offer right now. These include the ROG Crosshair VI Hero X370 and the Prime Z270-A ATX LGA1151. Both have their own set of unique features as well as some common ones. This makes them compatible with all the processors from Intel’s Z170 chipset as well as all AMD Ryzen CPUs.

Gigabyte Motherboards:

Gigabyte, a company that specialized in motherboards for desktops and servers, has been chosen as the best motherboard manufacturer by more than 20 million users around the world.

In 2008, Gigabyte was awarded an “Excellent” award from PC Pro magazine for its Ultra Durable 3 technology that improves product performance and provides longer system life.Best GigaBytes reviews 2022

As the global market share of Gigabyte motherboards has reached 17%, it has become a leader in the motherboard industry.

Gigabyte R&D Center produces motherboards for desktops and servers to provide excellent computer systems with top-quality hardware. In addition, GIGABYTE engineers have developed new technologies that will help enhance product performance and ensure long system life.

Gigabyte Technology, a company that is committed to excellence in the motherboard industry, will continue to provide high-quality motherboards with excellent service for users all over the world.

MSI Motherboards:

Micro-Star International (MSI) was established in August 1986 and has since become a major manufacturer of computer hardware products. From its headquarters in Taiwan, MSI has expanded worldwide with branches in Europe and the USA. With over 30 years of experience, it can be considered one of the frontrunners when it comes to manufacturing computer hardware products.Best Motherboard Manufacturer brand

In 2008, MSI decided to venture out and launch itself into the global market. In order to accomplish this, they initiated a joint venture with Intel called “MSI/Intel”. This was designed specifically for MSI to enter the US motherboard market in 2009. A year later, in 2010, MSI released its first K-series board, the K9A Platinum, on the Intel P55 chipset. It was an instant hit!

Today MSI is primarily known for its top-notch gaming motherboards and graphics card series. The perfect mix of style and performance has made MSI one of the most popular brands amongst PC gamers around the world. In 2012, MSI even launched their own gaming laptop called “GT72”.

However, MSI is more than just a motherboard manufacturer. They have an incredibly wide range of items and all are made to the highest quality.

Intel Motherboards:

Intel is one of the most recognized CPU brands in the world, and rightly so – Intel CPUs power 80% of all personal computers , from budget systems to high-end workstations. So when it comes to buying a motherboard that can support your shiny new Xeon or Core i7 CPU, you want a board with features and quality by Intel’s name and quality.

The new Intel DX58SO motherboard is the company’s flagship LGA-1366 motherboard, and is targeted toward enthusiasts who want to maximize their system’s performance by putting in the latest Intel i7 CPU (in this case, the Core i7 980X), with overclocking capabilities galore. The board even includes a case badge and two overclocking stickers – you can never have enough of those.

The board’s packaging isn’t as fancy as the ASUS ROG or EVGA Classified series, but it is quite informative, with a slew of information about the board’s features and specifications. The box even includes an orange sticker which says “OC Certified”.

AMD Motherboards:

AMD has been making processors for a long time, but their motherboards have taken more of a backseat to the competition.  AMD’s AM3+ chipset is its current flagship motherboard socket, which offers four full-sized PCI Express slots in addition to six SATA 6 Gbps ports (two of which are RAID capable), support up to 32 GB of RAM, and an Intel Gigabit Ethernet controller.  The motherboard also has onboard HDMI and DVI video outputs for those who don’t have discrete graphics cards installed.

AMD’s AM3+ socket is a replacement for the AM3 “Spider” form factor (which was used as AMD’s flagship chipset for many years), which means that it can accept any CPU already compatible with Socket AM3, including the Athlon II X4, Phenom II X4 and FX-series CPUs — all of which we tested in this review.  Unfortunately, older CPUs meant higher temperatures: even at idle the motherboard was pushing 70 degrees Celsius! An updated BIOS seemed to reduce this heat slightly.

IBM Motherboards:

The best IBM motherboard is the one that fits your requirements. If you are planning to build a computer, there are several things you need to consider in order to get your hands on the right motherboard. First of all, you need to establish compatibility between the motherboard and other components in the computer like CPU, Memory, Power Supply Unit (PSU) and Graphics card.

One thing that I always recommend in my articles is doing thorough research before buying anything especially when it comes to cutting-edge stuff like motherboards because what might work for someone else might not work for you even if they have similar hardware components. Because of this fact alone, I will highlight some important factors about choosing an IBM Motherboard in this article;

It was difficult to find a lot of reviews on these motherboards when I started my build, but I did find a few. Overall, most of them get very good reviews. Asrock and Asus for example, have been great boards so far. The key thing to look for is the number of phases on the power supply which should be at least 10+. For those unfamiliar with PC hardware, this means that there are 10+ wires going into the PCI-E slots.

The MSI boards that I have used in the past were solid, however, some of their newer boards seem to be hit or miss. I don’t recommend Gigabyte boards for Intel builds because they use a lot of proprietary components on their motherboards such as the CPU power cables and they don’t always fit well which can be annoying.
